Seasonality: Making the Most of Your Marketing

If you follow my 10stepmarketing System, you know that seasonality can play a key role in your marketing plan. Marketing to your prospects when they are most likely to be thinking about your product or service category can greatly improve your response rates and sales conversion.

For example, if you are marketing a health and wellness product or service, what would be the natural time of year to focus your marketing? Easy, right? Coincide with January and all those New Year's resolutions to lose weight and get in shape. Or, market during late spring and early summer when everyone wants to get in shape for swimsuit season.

Springtime is also a big time of year for wedding-related businesses. Just look around at all the ads you're seeing right now and you'll start to get a feel for what types of other businesses are taking advantage of spring seasonal marketing.

Then take a look at your business and see how you can tie-in with the seasons to improve the effectiveness of your marketing.
